Cooking for Many

One of my favorite things is cooking for others — there are few things better in life than sharing good food with good company. I love being home for the holidays and cooking a giant feast for the fam, or inviting friends over for a dinner party and lingering over several courses and glasses of wine.

Here are some of my favorite dishes and meals to prepare for a group of people:

  • Sunday brunch (Challah French toast; proscuitto-wrapped asparagus; deviled eggs; fresh fruit; and mimosas)
  • Falafel dinner (Fresh falafel with toasted pita and the fixings; yogurt sauce; and spicy-roasted cauliflower)
  • Tomato anchovy pasta dinner (Anchovy-tomato-garlic pasta with rocket; roasted veggies; baguette and wine)
  • Roasted duck dinner (Roasted honey duck; grilled sweet potatoes and goat cheese; roasted brussels sprouts and pancetta; couscous)
  • Afternoon tea time (Salmon tea sandwiches; cheese scones; mini fruit toasts; and chocolate pot de creme)
  • Tapas party spread (Savory and sweet tartines; charcuterie spread; pretzel bites)
  • DIY taco dinner (Pair your favorite proteins – grilled shrimp, chicken, or steak – with a table spread of chopped avocados, mangos, tomatoes, onions, and cilantro, and you’ve got yourself a DIY taco dinner)
  • Asian noodle night (Stir-fried pad thai noodles, paired with a crispy kale miso salad and shredded carrots)
  • Jalapeño black pasta (Squid-ink pasta with a spicy kick of jalapeño-almond pesto; side of roasted cauliflower and broccoli; wine)
  • Soy-herb salmon dinner (Fresh salmon fillets pan-fried and then oven-roasted to perfection; veggie couscous; fresh soy roasted green beans)
  • Chicken pad thai dinner (Homemade chicken pad thai with veggies, served fresh with a light spring salad).
